What to Expect
- A qualified lawyer will sit down with you and discuss your legal issue.
- You will receive honest, unbiased advice — the lawyers cannot take you on as a client following the session.
- Sessions are ideal for:
- Checking whether you have a valid case.
- Understanding your options before committing to paid legal representation.
- Getting a second opinion on advice you have already received.
- If your matter is complex, they will recommend you see a solicitor and can point you in the right direction.
Other Free Services
- Legal Aid Queensland: Means-tested free legal representation — legalaid.qld.gov.au
- QCAT (Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal): Self-represented applications for disputes under $25,000 — qcat.qld.gov.au
- Legal Matters on 4CRB: Call in every Tuesday at 9:00 AM on 4CRB 89.3FM to ask Andrew Bell a legal question live on air.
