At Bell & Senior Lawyers, our physical home is in Southport on the Gold Coast, but our practice extends far beyond our office walls.

Location is No Barrier

Ideally, we meet face-to-face for an initial strategy session, but we successfully manage legal matters for clients who live:

• In Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast.
• In Rural or Regional Queensland.
• Interstate (Sydney, Melbourne) but have legal issues in Queensland (e.g., buying QLD property or contesting a QLD Will).
• Overseas expats returning to or investing in Australia.

How Remote Representation Works

Modern legal practice is largely digital. We use secure technology to ensure your distance doesn’t compromise the quality of your representation:

1. Video Conferencing: Comprehensive strategy meetings via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
2. Digital Documents: Secure file sharing and digital signing (DocuSign) for contracts and agreements.
3. Electronic Settlements: We use PEXA for property settlements, meaning you don’t need to physically attend a settlement room—it happens online.
4. Court Appearances: Many court reviews and mentions are now conducted by telephone or video link, or we can instruct local agents / barristers in other jurisdictions on your behalf.

Limitations

Please note that for certain Criminal Law matters requiring a physical appearance in a remote Magistrates Court, travel fees or the engagement of a local town agent may apply. We will discuss this transparently during your initial enquiry.
