The registry is open to the public during the following times (excluding public holidays):
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Important: Family Law Matters
Please note that the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) does not have a registry at Southport. Gold Coast residents with family law matters (such as divorce, property settlement, or parenting orders) must file documents at the Brisbane Registry located at 119 North Quay, Brisbane.
Parking at Southport Courthouse
Paid on-street parking is available on surrounding streets including Davenport Street and Hinze Street. There are also several multi-storey public car parks within a short walk in the Southport CBD. Allow at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appearance time to find parking and clear security.
